The Progressive Method
for French Horn
Volume 1   (FREE!)

The best way to begin playing the horn is to consolidate your C to G range before going higher thus avoiding frustration and discouragement at this important stage.
On the left page of each lesson, you will learn a new note or rhythmical figure in a few simple exercises. You will then put that new element in practice in a small piece on the right page.
This book will bring you up to C in the staff and down to G below the staff.

You can read the intro and get the fingering chart and warm up routine as well as the first four lessons for free. Volume 1 will be available to download below for free.

Listen to two of the pieces featured in this book by clicking on the audio samples here.
